When I had my 2K Durango, it was recalled for a flash to turn on the MIL if the cat converter was removed. I think it was around the time period shown on your sticker. FWIW, I believe the "death flash" was only done on the 5.9 (and maybe 5.2) engines. Never heard of one on a 4.7.
