A 3/8 line is good to do. But it depends on the HP output of your engine. I would do a 3/8 line.
You can use your old sender if you take it out and drill out the old pick up tube and weld in a new one.
(Year one has 3/8 lines ready and waiting for a price)
The stock pump isnt up to task for powerful engines. But I have used the Carter HP pumps without problems. Simple bolt on unit. They come in 2 flavors after stock. Hi pressure and really high pressure.
The summit set is ok to do. The Carter Mech pumps are almost that GPH flow. That means less hook up hassle.
