A long overdue update....
The jeep was found just before the ins.co paid my buddy off. The thing that sucks is that it was found north of lansing MI. It was left in a ditch along the road. The radio was gone but for the most part everything that was inside of it was still there. It had some scratches on it and the exhaust was badly damaged and the hoodlums managed to mess up the ignition so it would always beep like a key was in it and the door was open.
Needless to say my friend was very unhappy but he was relieved to know it was found.
Here is the kicker of it all....the ins. company had it in one of their impound lots in MI and they told him to go out and get it (7.5 hrs away)
well he didn't have the time to go out and do it so they told him to hire someone to do it for him. So he did....He got it flatbeded back to Meadville PA to the tune of $1400...but yet the ins. company told him to hire someone right???
After he got it back he took it to the dealer and had them look at it and fix the damage on it... and the ins. company didn't want to pay that bill either but they did after some calls from his lawyer...
oh well atleast he got it back right????
