I had a 1977 Suburban ......... 2 wheel drive with a 454 and turbo 400.
3.73 cog.
It was a pure hammer wagon , but we had a ton of fun in it.
I was out with a buddy driving to the saloon and we pulled up next to a guy with his girlfriend in his early 80's trans am.
The muffler was rotted out on the suburban and I was just goofing when I revved it at the stop light.
He took it personal.
When we got the green , he launched it hard and I waxed him pretty good.............for the next three stop lights.
He finally turned and slunk away with his tail between his legs.
Man............we laughed like fools for the next couple miles.
But that old tub would haul the mail for what it was.
