forced clamp and hose off, then took a small screwdriver and worked cleaning nipple out(sand and grease).....finally heard air under pressure escaping for about 2.5 seconds. Moral of my story....it's been plugged for years! The diff. cavity was under pressure just sitting in the afternoon sun here....not even having been run today.

Have been on both sides of the front axle and its not going to be as obvious how/where to find the front axle's vent if it has one. Thinkiing it's a Dana 60.
Will look for a sticky on it.
