Default power to manual brakes

I have a 70 bee with 4 wheel power drums. Ever since I rebuilt the engine I don’t have enough vacuum for the power booster. I wanted to convert to disk anyway. I was wondering if it’s possible to go from power to manual. I haven't seen anything on this. I have been looking at Master Power Brakes, SSBC and Wilwood. I don’t want to run a vacuum pump and I have tried a canister, it helped but there is still not much power there. Has anyone done this?

Go to www.moparaction.com and read the "Disco-tech" article in the Tech dept. Pretty much all you need to know, including the MP adapter to use a 2-bolt late master cyl. in a manual brake set-up. If you're retaining the 4-bolt master, you can just remove the booster and (I think??) use an adjustable pushrod available from MP. Have fun

You shouldn't have any problems, I plan on doing the same thing with my 70' bee.
Dodger1 is right, you can just do that. Or get an addapter to a new style 2 bolt master.

I just switch my 71 sat. from power to manual. My master cyl. was bad so i just went to the parts store got a new one. bolt it to the brace on the firewall thats behind the booster then got the adjustable pushrod from master power brake ( they're just five min. for my house) just had to make brake light switch bracket.
