Leaf part numbers?
Is there a part number stamped on MP springs? Where? I bought a set from a guy trying to scrap them (cheap, hes a Buick guy) They look to be A body as the eyes are about 53 apart measured straight across the bow and they have 5 leafs. They have been off a car for 30 years and they are very clean. Wondering if they are stockers or not. Wondering if they are any better than the 41 year old Formula "S" leafs I have right now. Who has the best prices on A torsion bars? looking for some stiffer ones for the big block.

Every SS spring that I've seen has the P/N stamped on the bottom (shortest) leaf; usually on the rear end of the leaf. L & R will have different P/N's.
