Unhappy

Just purchased a "NEW" 2000 3500 diesel/auto 4x4 with 4.10 "suregrip", and can barely get the thing--unloaded to get 16 mpg on a 900 round trip from Kentucky. It has been "Flashed", but the dealer said that was for poor acceleration--so whats up with this flash you guys were talking about that "kills" mpg.
