99 turns 20K & now gets 19MPG highway

Hi all'
well, my beast turned 20K this weekend, and I have been putting 400 miles a week on her for the last two months. The interesting thing I have noticed is that my milage is really starting to get better. Is that because of some setting in teh ECM that is waiting for the engine to turn over 20K or is it that she is finally breaking in. ( BTW the 20K is Kms up here in Canada, not miles although the MPG is in MPG )

Yes, you are correct in assuming it is a 4X4. Manual Trans too...

Thats awesome! I have the same truck with some motor mods. Its got BD injectors, KN air filter and high flow 4" exhaust. Yesterday it read 19.7mpg, and that is around town, you know stop and go. It has an automatic trans. I am also running a Fitch fuel catalyst and it helps alot, no more smoke and better throttle response! <><
