why the hell should we! Until dc fixes the fuel mileage, they aren't worth talking about. I have asked for help on here numerous times and either no one gives a shit or just can't figure it out either. Dealerships say be patient. Ya right! I have read that the mileage improves with more miles on the truck. BS. I have 32000 on it now and the mileage still sucks.

first your gonna have to get your wallet active. once you do that try these things out
1.get a Gear Vendors or US Gear overdrive unit $2300 to $3500 but definitly worth their wieght in fuel.
2nd. if you cant afford one of these try larger diameter tires.
3rd. get the 275 injectors agian alot of money out, but you pick up power and fuel mileage.
4th. get a computer box on it Van Aaken CPC or the TST Products Powermax2. HUGE HUGE difference.
5th get a zero backpressure exhaust system there is a guy named Steve Anderson at a shop in Utah (rmuffler@inconnect.com)he sells a turbo back kit for about 5 bones shipped. no mileage so to speak but lots of power.
6th check your timming crucial to mileage.
7th go smoke some chevy and ford butt.

Personally I get 20-21 mpg with my truck. What more can I ask for? Thats with or without a trailer, little better on the highway than in the city. Compared to a gas engined like truck, I'm totally satisfied with what I got. You got a 24-valve engine I assume? I've talked to a few that says the 24 valve was designed for better emissions, instead of better fuel economy. Not sure if that is true or not.

Cool

I have two; a '93 D-350 LE, and a '96 3500 SLT Laramie, both 5-spd 2wd Clubs. The '93 has 184K on it's original trans(!) and 2nd clutch, while the '96 has 41K and has lots of afterrmarket goodies. The '93 hauls stacks of trailers, and my wife uses the '96 in her business, as well. The '93 gets 21 hiway/18 town; the '96 gets 22 hiway/19 town. Dig 'em both!!!
