Default Small block timing chain tensioner

I just bought one of the Mopar units and it looks like it will work just fine. Easily wide enough for a double row timning chain. It takes the place of the cam retainer. Anyone else using one? Oh yeah they only cost $32.

Mancini racing might have a picture, try them, thats where I bought both of mine from, I am wondering how they hold up as a dily driver type deal, both of mine are in racing engines.

I would think they hold up rather well in a daily usage situation- my guess is these were designed more for the street car than the race car. Most modern engines have tensioners. Here's a picture from Mancini- http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...1922_122380915

I was kind of thinking they were. Now we know for sure they are durable for the street.
