Default 440 oil pressure

Hi, Whats anybodys opinion on how much oil psi for a .60 over 440 warmed up for street? Motor redlines at 5500, my choice. Currently 38 psi idle, 70 psi anything over 1800 rpm. Shell Rotella 15W40 oil. Too much? Just right?

Rule of thumb, 10 psi for every 1000 rpm the engine will turn.

65 to 70psi with my Melling High Volume pump....(when the truck is ACTUALLY running! LOL! Some of the other fellas may know what I'm talkin about. BigWhiteTruck is down right now with a worn cam lobe. )

Stands at about 25 at warm idle.

Someday I'll get my truck back on the road again.

My 440 is also 0.060 over. (452 cu. in. now)
