hello, is the bushing new?? when replacing the bushing, it has to be reamed with the installation tool. should have the drive shaft miked for size, it could be oversize. just food for thought.

Default Okay

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it is a new bushing and I bet the machine shop just hammered it in... What diameter should the shaft be? Also who carries the tool to install/ream the bushing?

The bushing in the block isn't actually reamed, it is burnished to size by the installation tool which also expands it to fit the block tighter.

Cool Well on second thought...

They want 140+ dollars each for install and removal tools... So back to square one ....

If you can't find a shop with the correct installation tool, there is a bushing available that needs no sizing; it is sold under the Pioneer brand and the P/N is PC-780.

Biggrin Thanks again guys!

Well I found it on Buymopar.com for 66.75. Luckly OTC did not remember to cover up the Miller C3053 in the picture and i was able to locate it by that too. Thanks for the heads up on the Pioneer bushing as that will be my last ditch effort in doing it my self.
