Default engine pulleys

Does anyone besides March Performance offer the pulleys for a small block? They seem to be a little pricey. I would like to stay with the v belt setup but would look at a serpentine if priced right. I want a/c,ps,alt,crank and waterpump.

I'm not exactly clear what you are asking?
Are you just looking for pulleys to get it running, like stock pulleys?
Or are you looking for under-drive pulleys?,
Or are you looking for dress-up pulleys like Aluminum or Chrome?

March makes a great set up,and I am sure there are others out there. You don't wont to go serp though. It uses more HP and the belt wears faster than V belts do.

Default small block brackets

I got excellent pulley's brackets etc. from Bouchillon for my 408 stroker. They manufacture their own parts and seem very knowledgable. They are at 843-744-6559 or

jonesracingproucts.com has some really neat stuff. However, I am sure they are not cheap either.

Question Speaking of chrome...........

Anyone besides me ever had clamping problems using chrome? My truck has a chrome bracket to the alt. and in trying to stop belt slippage I actually stripped the alt. adj. bolt out. Is this a one time thing?

I've seen the adjuster bolt stripped on lots of dodge alternators, that weren't chrome, so I don't think you are alone.

I hate to ask, but where do you get info like this from?

The serp belt has better contact area than a V so it has less slipage.

Newer cars run them for 100000 km at a time. Which I think would be unheard of for a V belt.

I'm not trying to flame you hear (not that I wouldn't) but I'd just like to know what your statement is based on.

I've got a stock pwr steering belt that keeps loosening up for some reason, but it's not chrome. Not quite the same thing, but it's happening.

I think it's just from vibration. I always use a star washer on adjusters and haven't had that problem since. Don't really know if that was the cure but it seems so.

BouchillonPerformance.com, i bought the 2 groove crank and 1 groove waterpump as a set 130.00 i think, they worked great, its nornal to have the p/s and crank grooves not line up perfectly they say up to 1/4 inch in differance is ok, but i made shim spacers for mine to get them real close had to take the pump out further. no complaints here!!

I have march pullies on my Satty, even with a stock teen you can tell the difference up on the top end. Its way more responsive with the underdrives at higher speeds. I found the whole set up used with alt and p/s already attached for 130.00. For your alternator striping, I noticed advance now carries heli coil kits, drop in a new heli coil and put a lock washer on that baby and it should hold.
