Default 727 ratios

what gear ratio would a 86 van with 360 4 barrel have in the 727? I'm guessing 2.45, in 1st, than 1.45 in 2nd? just want to be sure. I'm required to run an auto in the (auto) stock, whoops, meant to say pure stock dirt track class

Yep, thats the gear ratios for a 727. There is aftermarket low gear seta avaliable (2.76:1 I believe) that can be swapped in.
Good luck at Ft. lost-in-the-woods, been there, done that lol.

Thanks, thought it was that, but heard some had differant ratio. maybe I got if confused with 904. Aurora is where I bought my 70 Swinger, from a guy named Ron, who back in 96 also had another Dart. He was working on somebodys modified at the Col. nat speedway. Ft Cartoon (Carson) was cool. Just waiting to get knee surgery at Lost in the woods

Long time ago, I think 1989 or 1990 when I was in basic training.
