Ya I was 16 and driving my dads New Yorker, the 87' was plain, no fins or louvers and wire wheel hub caps w/white walls. Anyhow these punks in a 280Z pull up at the light. Well there revving and revving so I power braked the turbo and let off the gas so the turbo would WHHHHHINNNNEEEE back down to idle. They look over, I spooled it up again and held it till the light turned green, and 5 foot of tire later I'm a good car length ahead. Now for the Spirit R/T story. My brother and me with 2 other people are packed into the R/T when an older bald guy picks a race with his auto/Vette we took em' easy till about 85 MPH. he about S**T. And the Spirit also took a 70' 454 Chevelle, off the line and through the gears, he was a very sore looser, my brother had to ditch him on a twisty road because he just wouldnt stop following.
