Torque specs please
Edelbrock Air Gap mounting to Mopar R/T heads (5007950). These heads have the old style angled bolts for mounting to the heads, they are 5/16 diameter with a 3/8 hex head. Any body have the torque specs for that combo? Head gaskets are Cometic with ARP studs. I'm concerned with over torquing and lifting the heads at operating temp.

17ftlbs is usual for a 5/16" bolt

Thanks
The torque spec for that bolt is around 45 #ft, and there is no way I'm going to put that number on an aluminum manifold. 17 sounds good. Ron

Use a hard washer and bolt to manufacturers specification.
