The other night I was heading home from Lowe's. A new Black WS6 pulls up beside my little Neon and starts pointing and laughing. I pointed and laughed back, cause the driver to rev the engine and point at the light, I acknowledged with a yes. It had just finished raining, and the road was wet. The light went green, and I took off, my Neon only turning the tires over a couple times, pulling the bird by almost one car length. As I grabbed second I saw the bird kick sideways violently and launched over the curb. I turned around and went back. The guy really chewed up his new car. He broke something in the suspension because the tires were pointing in different directions, and the underbody was all beat up. When I was a kid my dad used to tell me " Interesting things can happen when you give a fool some horsepower."

Now that's a story. That's exactly why I never race when the road is even slightly damp. My truck would end up doin just that. It does kinda make ya fell sorry for the guy, even though he's one of them jerks who won't believe something like a neon or full size truck could take him.

This has been proven in all kinds of sports and now your race in particular, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE ANYONE, you never know what'll happen.

So, One of the nicest GM cars on the road gets crunched and I am just glad the Neon is OK!!...LOL Am I sick or do I just have a clear perspective on this one??
