Cool

two years ago i was dating a girl who at the time was driving an 1984 ford mustang with a 302cid plant. she would brag and brag on this car all the time. one day we were beside each other on the local four lane and hit a stoplight at the same time. i was driving a 1991 dodge shadow with the 2.5 fuel injected motor and auto. trans. when the light went green we both floored it. that mustang culd only stay door to door to 90 mph, and then the dodge left her looking at my taillights. after three stoplights of this, she was very mad at me and the shadow. guess that is why she dumped me. that's allright though, the mustand sent #3 rod and piston through the block a week later.

Reminds me of the time I nailed this guy's '94 Ford Ranger 3.0l V6 and came very close to burying the needle on my '92 Plymouth Acclaim 2.5l TBI... Made it from Middletown, NY to Warwick, NY in 15 minutes...I was young and stupid, car had over 180K miles on the original trans and engine, doing 110mph, shaking like mad...Ford never had a chance.
