Two motors out one in

A buddy of mine who has a 71 Dart cloned to look like a 340 six pack with a slant 6, just bought a 71 4 dr Dart with a BUILT 360 in it. We pulled both motors and dropped the 360 in the 2 dr Dart. We started at 9:30 this morning and finished about 7:30 tonite. Man, Im beat!

Anybody want a slant 6 and Tranny in the Orlando Fl area? 200 Bucks! Runs perfect! Of course!

Definately a busy day. Multiple motor swaps are a pain. I had a couple of those on the go last summer, involving a couple of pickups and a motor home.

Say man, what do you mean the dart was cloned to look like a 340 six pack?

The only 340 six packs were AAR cuda's and TA challenger's

You mean like a slant made to look like a 340 six pack? that would quite the mock up.

Back to the thread...I'm sure it's a cool car, I'm just wondering what it has been cloned to look like.

I never knew that. When he showed it to me I just assumed there were dart six pax. He's just got the decal 340 six pak and a bumble bee stripe. I thought it looked pretty cool, I used to rib him about the slant 6 in his car. Now I can STIIL give him grief

We are still having problems with the new Mallory ign system off the 4 dr, itegrating it with the old slants points system.

I knew this was the "Performance" Talk section, But I figger we performed really well.

Now Ive got an empty 71 4 dr Dart and a warmed up 318 in the corner of the garage winking at me
