News Conference

Mopar has a news conference scheduled for today at the auto show. Additional Nascar information is supposed to be forthcoming.

Yeppers on the news. I have been surfing to try and find out more for today and not a thing as of now. The only thing I did find out over at the Dodge site was that they announced a partial sponsor from the UAW union. Their symbol will be on both cars.

Jayski's site now has news from the conference. Several links from the article show pictures of the Intrepids introduced at the show. No announcement of Petty joining or Evernham's drivers. Evernham says his drivers still have contract details to finalize. The new Winston Cup Intrepids are billed as Intrepid R/T's which should help sell a lot of street Intrepid R/T's.

In Evernham's interview he mentioned that his drivers weren't being announced because of current contract negotiations. Hmmmm.... Seems to me I heard something on Jayski of Tony Stewart not having his new contract signed yet due to negotiations. Coincedence or not?.....
