Default 904 pump question

I was digging through my pile of 904 parts tonight and I have multiples of lots of things all mixed in together. For the most part it's not a problem, but I have a couple of front drums and pumps. I'm going to use the 5 clutch over the 4 clutch, but I can't remember which drum went with which pump, and I remember seeing references to them being different. To put it in perspective, a lot of the parts are wrapped in newspaper dating back to 2000. As most days I can barely remember what I had for lunch the day before, my memory's not going to help me here. I eyeballed both pumps and switched them between both drums without any apparent problems. Are they different, and if so what do I look for? Thanks.

The front pump rear housing used with the 5-disc drum has added clearance for the wider drum.

If the wide drum clears the back of the pump housing it's OK to use.

Thanks John - I'll go and check the two pumps again side by side. I did notice one seemed to be machined a little deeper but I wasn't sure of the significance. As always, your help is appreciated.
