Default New dyno numbers

Just had the car chassis dynoed on monday. The new numbers are 276hp N/A and I think like 316ft. lbs. compared to 244hp a year before. same engine combo different ignition and carb. I 'll get the sheets out of the car tomorrow. It made the best power at 32degrees timing. It made this after about a 15 minute cool down. I think it would do better with the rpm air gap on there. The engine build is a .

030 360
ported iron heads 2.02 valves
comp cams xe274 .488/.491
weiand action plus intake
9.7:1 compression
750holley double pumper

The dyno operator thought the car would pick up 5 to 10hp with the air gap. We ran the nitrous twice when it was hot made 334hp. The N/A numbers when it was hot was 255hp then we got the intake cooled down and it jumped to 276hp. So it would probably make around 350 to 360 wheels on a 100shot we were gaining aprox 80hp. That is why I think the air gap would help.

It cost $170 bucks for 1 hour and 15 minutes. And I think it was about 9 pulls.
I think with the air gap I can reach at least 280hp to the wheels. If not more.

wish you weren't so far away - I have an airgap sitting in the shelf - sure would like to see the direct comparison as a certain board member on here swears the Action plus was developed by God himself.

good numbers for the dyno.
