North American International Auto Show (formerly known as the Detroit Auto show) is coming up - several of us from the RAM truck chat room are going to try and meet up there !!!
No fewer than five NASCAR vehicles will be at the Dodge display at the NAIAS 2001. And there's good reason. Come February when the Daytona 500 opens the annual NASCAR Winston Cup season in Daytona Beach, Fla., Dodge will be there, fielding two teams in partnership with its network of nearly 3,000 dealers. Dodge had previously been involved in NASCAR Winston Cup in the 1950s through the '70s as famous drivers such as Lee and Richard Petty, Buddy Baker and David Pearson drove Dodges to victory. But hard times at the automaker brought those activities to an end. Now we can hardly wait to hear it again: Gentlemen, start your engines! Return to this Official Web Site January 7-10 to see Carpoint's live coverage of NAIAS 2001 Media Days, with Streaming and Surround Video highlights, photo essays and detailed reportage. I'll take some pics, in case you can't be there !!! (I go every year !) ------------------ "Good Luck on your project." While realizing that NASCAR determines the template and body shape, that photo sure shows that the Intrepids have adopted "Cab Rearward" as opposed to "Cab Forward" !
