That's a very cheap aftermarket set up on that car. Stock Mopar rear sway abrs mount in the frame above and in front of the rear axle with the arms pointing to the rear of the car. The attaching links go from the sway bar arms down to a bracket that is on top of the rear springs.

hmm...
as i recall, DWC, Mopar naver made a rear swaybar equipped a-body, except for some late production darts. try finding the rear sway bar off that. you can modify another chassis setup to work, but that requires heating and bending bars, as well as not getting the right size to match a large front bar. before you go trashing the aftermarket and some of its products, make sure of the availibility and practicality of options, as well as the cars intended use.

that being said, heres a few different pictires, of an ADDCO "cheap aftermarket bar", on an 8 3/4 in a 70 duster.

It's not that the bar is cheap, I'm sure it's fine, but those mounts are not the strongest thing in the world. I broke a mount on the LF sway bar one time. IT aint pretty. And never heat and bend the bar. IT's heat treated and as soon as you throw the torch to it, it's toast, and worthless.

Actually, the factory rear bar set-up is neat because it adds very little unsprung weight. The bar is bolted to the frame. with only the links added to the weight of the axle assy. Also the bar is out of the way above and ahead of the axle. M-body (Diplomats, etc.) cop/taxi packages had a 3/4" dia. rear bar that might be adaptable to an A-body, but as dwc says you can't modify the bar easily without killing it's heattreat. Also you'd need to see which front bar would be the right matchup for your car.
