Default go fast parts-318 poly

Looking for performance improvements for my 318 poly motor. Cant seem to find intakes, electronic ignition set-ups, or exhaust systems for this application. Any help would be appreciated.

TTI makes headers for b-bodies
Not sure if you can get them new anymore, but Wienad made an aluminum intake or find a e-bay intake $$$$
Mopar small block ignition. Many options.
camcraft cams (many choices solid or hydraulic), racer brown cams, chris nielson cams
higher stalls too, or use 67 up input shaft in the trans and you have more choices, like 11 inch stock converters. All the old Polys had the big 12 or 13 inch low stall converters.
some port work

Wish you were in Bloomington, Indiana...

How much extra performance do you want from your Poly?

My dad built a rail with a 301 Plymouth poly back in the day, with 4 weber 2-bbls on a fabbed intake, major port work and a "7/8ths" cam, whatever that is. He still has the cam. Put it in the low 11's in 1960. I have built two sets of poly heads, and am impressed at the potential there. Also, I am told that stroker cranks for the LA also fit the polys. Look into this. Think about it. Take a poly, stroke it to 4", you get around a 371 poly. Loads of extra torque. :-)PCRMike

That's right. The cranks are the same. The distributors are the same too,a bunch is. Check out victory library dot com or net or org-something,google it. Also,a friend of mine deals with a lot of high end polys and usually has a four barrel and at least one six pack intake for the poly, cams,on and on. E-mail him at glpavlovich@cox.net Tell him I gave you his e-mail,he's a good guy.
