You forgot to mention it's a 440...............

12.50's to 13's.........could hit 12 if it had enough traction, and was tuned perfectly.

Oh, wait, TCI tranny, I dock you 18 seconds, because that is how long it would take me to pull your truck down the 1/4...................

These tires are a little too small. I will run out of motor most likely.
It actually has been hooking better since all the work I've done.
Keep in mind, this truck weighs 3500 give or take. A strong 440 has to be a good 440 hp motor. That should put me at 12s. I wish I could make time to hunt down a dyno, but I like the track.
It has the aluminum water pump housing,Weiand Team G intake,I took the x member out from under the firewall(the manual tranny one),the fuel tanks gone, the seats are Drag buckets, the battery is in back and I bolted about 57 inches of 2x2 solid square stock to the frame in back. Did I mention I outran last years corvette?

I always forget to mention it's internally balanced (steel crank).
Yeah,I had consistent runs when I nailed the light and was breathing enough to shift right!! It's getting the weight distribution right, that's the hard part for me. Soon I will be replacing the huge x member in the front with a fabbed aluminum piece. That should help(the slicks will too). I had 12x28 MnH's but they sat tooo long and my buddy needed them. Now they're toast.

Thanks. I got one 12.30 with the MnH's,but that's another story. The tires that are available to me now are 33x14w and they are old Firestones, but brand new. I''d have to go to some 4.88's probably. So I will wait until I can afford some stick.I plan on cutting the bed and getting some more room in there for wider tires, but I don't want to go much taller than 28 with 3.91s.29's might be ok.
I like to drive it too and the 3.91s keep it at 3000 r's going down the highway at 55. That's good for my engine and tranny with a 3000 stall. Another trade off.

Actually,if you want to get technical,it turns out to be 447.81 and on. It was sonic checked to have plenty of meat everywhere, but it is only .040 over.Weren't you paying attention to the specs I listed? Doesn't it say 4.36? I'll have to check.

UNlike some of you guys, I don't keep RB bore specs in my head.

Not to mention that extra .40 is giving you at least a hundred mental HP!
