Default Help me "Fix" my R/T Charger RENTAL!!

Hello I have the privelege of driving a 07 Charger R/T Daytona.
Is there anything simple I can do to make it run a little better than stock for a few days. All that anti-lock and traction controll make it hard to have a nice sunday drive!!
Thanks
Mike.

Default Rental companys............

have a way of checking computers and looking for tampering, then charging the renter for repairs. A few years ago there was a story on the news about one who charged a guy for driving above the posted speed limit.

Do you really want to take that chance?

THey use GPS and Lo Jacks on them too. GPS will tell you how fast you have been going and Lo Jack can tell you where the car is at as well as the gps. I would not mess with if I was you.

I thought the Chargers had a button which would disengage the traction control. I have seen it on a Charger Police Cruiser. Maybe the lease companies have them built without them.

Now that I think of it, I read an article about Mustang GT rentals that had the same issue. The magazine had an "inside" tip on how to disarm it. They did and then hammered the piss out of one before setting it back and returning it.

Umm yes you can disable the traction control below 20 mph, but you need the factory DRB. Get into emissions mode and it will do major burnouts.

Just to let you know with OBD2 the on board computer and count the number of miss fires driving down the road, the rental agency if they suspect foul play can see rpm, throttle position and speed and rpm's so don't try to mess with car just enjoy a nice ride......
