LA head gasket sealer?
Did a search but couldn't see any reference to whether or not one should use a sealer with new head gaskets. 8 years ago I used the "silver paint" sealer but don't know if that is still preferred. I'm using the standard FelPro engine assy. gasket set. Your advice?

Normally, with a composite gasket like a felpro, you don't use any sealer.
I wouldn't in that situation. It you want to use some, The only one I'd consider using is some spray on coppercoat. You should be able to get some at Lordco. Permatex makes it. Usually I use the copper coat on the steel gaskets only, but i have see many use it on the composite also. |

WE don't use sealer either unless we are using Cometic gaskets and gone really thin with them.
