What year did they put a lock up converter tranny in a 4x4 truck? A727 or A500 A518. I can't find the exact year.

I don't care if you sticky it, but it's not the first question I have ever asked either. As for cars in the late '80's. Were were arguing about '92, but I can't find a source to confirm it.

The '80 Ramcharger and Trailduster was the first lockup 727 in a 4 X 4. (trans #4058356)
In 4 X 4 pickups, '82 was the first year for the lockup 727. (trans # 4058396) |
