I have a 69 road runner with a 383 high horse power engine and im restoring it to semi orginal but i want some more power out of it and i think i should replace the rear end gears? any anwsers. p.s. my friend thinks his 69 ss camaro 396 350 hp can beat my runner what do you think.

You'll have to supply more info if you want an informed answer. What gears? What cam? What is your compression ratio? Every little bit helps.
