Default Nos for a 383

What would i need to do to run a small amount of nitrous on my motor. How much of a benifit would it be in street races and 1/8th mile.
My specs;

383 30 over
kb dometop pistons
480 total lift cam
bigger oil pan and pickup
high flow pump
edelbrock aluminum 88cc heads
offy tunnel ram w/ 2 600cfm edelbrocks
high flow fuel pump
2800 stall convertor
b&m flexplate
well built trans by my buddy
8 3/4 rear with multiple 3rd members
fiberglass front clip
superstock springs
mopar perf. torsion bars
disc brakes of a 73 dart
stripped down interior
b&m ratchet shifter
thats everything i can think of at the moment. I was looking at a 50 to 75 horse shot. What ya guys think?

If you are into street racing, I think that you need to hand over the keys. Even when I was your age, I knew that street racing was ignorant. Hulk Hogans boy proved how ignorant street racing is and his passenger paid the price.

A 100 - 125 shot is safe for cast pistons. Call N.O.S. or go to there web site for directions on installlation.

Out by me are sponsored 'Street races on real roads' Blocked off and carefully planned. Im not running down a highway at 120 or some sh!t back road. I should of saind 1/8th mile tracks and local races(rod ralley style races). Not street racing. Street racing is for lil kids and there honda civics and integra's

Was talking to my buddy, he was saying since i had such high compression that the nitrous wouldn't be good. I have 11.2 - 1 compression

you should be fine. nitrous does like forged internals better but i wouldnt be too worried bout the compression. as long as the car is tuned right i wouldnt be worried. just gotta retard the timing a little dependin on how big of a shot

Tell your buddy he knows not what he says. You can tell'em I said so and I'll be open to any adult like argument...aka, debate.
Tell him to come loaded with facts or stay home and find them.

I was thinking of a 75 shot. I dont know too much abot nitrous on older motors and thats why i asked. Concerned about messing something up. Spent a lot of time wrenching and money spending to fry it.
