Smile AFB carburetors

I recently picked up a dual quad setup off of E-bay. It came with 2 AFB carbs. The #'s are 3721 SA and 3721 SB. These are 575 cfm carbs. What if any would be the difference between the SA and the SB carbs?

From http://www.mre-books.com/sa130/sa130_2.html

The performance line also included a special carburetor listed as part number 3721. It had 575-cfm flow rating and was originally used on the high-performance 1964–1965 Corvette
327 cubic-inch engine.

I did find a website that had some good info on carb identification. Evidently Carter would id them with a number(in this case 3721). Later on they added an "S" to the number to indicate that the part was an assembly(in this case the body). As engineering changes were made to the carb they would apend another letter to the "S". In the case of these carbs with the "A" and the "B" it appears one of the carbs has a first revision change in it and the second one has a second engineering revision in it. I found this very interesting and hope this helps other out.

Moparmac and others, thanks for your input also. Carbs are a tough subject to identify specifics about.
