Default Quadra Shocks

I was leaning towards Caltracs for my 72 Cuda, and someone suggested Quadra Shocks instead. Anyone have any experience with Quadrashocks?

Heard of them for the front of trucks. Never for the rear of cars.

Where's the popcorn?? I might learn something here.

Quad shocks are used on 'Stangs. They are basically a horizontal shock that helps with axle wind up and wheel hop. They are also called Axle Dampers. They are found on Stangs because they run a type of 4-link suspension. You probably wont be able to use them. Heres some info:

Just Suspension offers such a kit thats supposed to be a bolt in. Its purpose is to prevent axle windup. Mopar Action did something similar to one of their test cars using Rancho truck shocks and probably some fabbed up brackets. Check their website it might make mention of it.

Ya, that's what this guy was talking about. I'll have to call Just Suspension before I buy the Caltracs!
