Default Stock bore of a 318

I am going to order some kieth black pistons but need to know the stock bore of a 318. The engine is going to be bored .30 over so i need to figure out which size to get Thanx

so you will need 3.94 pistons.
Have you verified it is a stock bore, I would check that before you buy pistons, an old motor, you never know.

I allways take the block to the machinest first to see whats what with the block first before I purchase anything. Otherwise, a waste of time and money can occur.

Agree with cageman and fish. Also the overbore really doesn't add that much power and will subtract from the strength and stiffness of the cylinder wall if you intend to get serious with power output.

Meant to say the legendary ".030 overbore" , which sounds cool and which I am guilty of doing myself. The way I understand it, you only want to bore as little as needed to restore the cylinder to trueness and to fit the next available oversized piston.
