There are two main reasons that the car went for such a high price.

First, its a charity auction

Second, its the ONLY 2008 Chally SRT8 that comes in B5 blue, and we all know what one off factory cars bring down the road.

Not only that Swinger, it's car #43 off the line and was being produced specifially for this auction that benefits Petty Family's "The Victory Junction Gang" Charity.

Yep, I just didnt go into that much detail about the charity thing. In general charity auctions bring more money than non charity deals.

I understand the auction and color was a detimining factor in the price.kinda too bad that they didnt show the special decal deal on it also being that it will probably be in some collection somewhere.wonder if it will end up on barrett jackson one day

I could see that happening, no one will be able to afford the gas and insurance, it will be sold, then sold again, then the alternator will go out from all the dead batteries it has had, and it willbe parked in the barn and forgotten.
Funny how history repeats itself, and no one sees it coming.
