Default stall converters

on my79 cordabo im doing a motor swap,i noticed putting my torq bolts in there was a blue oval sticker that said "high stall".this car has some factoty goodies,3.55 gears, tow package. the 360ci engine had oil pan windege tray, double timing chain, 4 barrel.it has factory duty specks like taxi cab or cop car. its got the big rotors, self ujusting coil over shocks. the main ? im wondering could the converter be a factory 1500 stall?

Whats the diameter of the converter? I think some of the factory converters they used for small block engines were around 2-2,200 stall.

That could be , But I don't think the diameter determines the stall. It's more internal I believe.

All '78 and later converters are 11" (10 3/4"), the chart below shows the '78 factory stall ratings; '79 would be the same.
