Glad you asked that. I don't know if they fit on standard LA heads, considering the W-2/T/A heads had offset intakes, but I'd like to. Someone here must.

i would think not since it has different shaped ports and different bolt locations

The ports of the W-2s are wider and shorter by a long shot, and no matter how much welding you do,there won't be a smooth transition!. I'm positive the intake bolts are in different location (wider to compensate for the fatter ports). There would be no improvement here,..only...disapointment!. Just get a good LA manifold in my opinion!. What are you planning? Most W-2s have runners that are very large, which is good for upper rpm,and they don't work well on a mild street engine, where you want the velosity up!

The w2 intake WILL NOT FIT any LA head. The W2 has an even greater pushrod offset then the T/A "la" head. So the bolt holes don't align.

It can be done, but not reasonably!!!!

I did it...I dont know how, but I did it as far as I can remember. It was about 18 years ago. I dont even remember if the bolt holes were hogged out. It was on a 68 X head 340 and it even ran pretty good. I remember putting epoxy to dam up the round intakes. I was young, dumb to the fact that I bought the ass-wrong intake, and was poor as hell to boot so I couldnt afford to get another intake until my next paycheck. I ended up trading that W2 SD intake and a Performer with 318 size ports that I hogged the bolt holes out to fit my old 65 angle hole 273 heads for a real square port SD at the Long Beach swap meet.

the spacing on the intake bolt holes are different....spread further apart for the w2 heads with the bigger ports with the offset intakes....

standard LA head is rectangle...w2 is oval...big mismatch.
