I will start a new thread for you. Hijacking is not the best way to get started.

The performance of the stock 360 is plagued by a low compression ratio, the wrong cam/carb can make it worse.

The '95 has FI and computer control which is a definite advantage.

It would be easier to get more "on target" answers and advice from the very knowledgeable guy here if you would provide more specific info.
1) cam -- what are the specs on the cam? lift, duration, etc.
2)intake -- brand and model? single or dual plane?
3)carb -- What kinda carb is on it? CFM?
4)vehicle -- What is this motor in?
5)driveline -- What transmission? what kinda torque converter? converter's stall speed?
What is the specific issue with this motor? What exactly is your brother trying to get out of it?

There are quite a few awesomely knowledgeable guys here, but without giving specific info to go on, it's hard for anyone to give a specific answer. The more detailed info you can give us, the more detailed advice we can give you. Without details, any answer will be a shot in the dark.

Wize words from SC. The trouble I'm having so far, is the rocker ratio of 1.7. Are you SURE it is a 1.7 ratio and what style 360? In otherwords, is it a Magnum engine?

Yes, headers and duals....always good. Unfortunately, this is the only REAL suggestion we can give him without more info.
