Thumbs down Speed-o-motive in west covina

Those lame asses charge twice what it should cost and then screw u.
I've NEVER had a or trusted a shop for final check/build/assemble any of my engines and never will. sorry to hear of your troubles.
I've had the same problem with cyl head guys though, so I now set up my own heads and do my own porting and only hire them for machine work and flow testing, after that it get your hands off my shit I'll do it my self.

I had them build me 540 Chevy engine for a Camaro I resto'd. I was generally happy with what I got. Maybe they should stay with Chevy motors. -Bob
