Default Where to buy new third member

Hi Guys, Where and who is the best place to buy a new complete third member?
I am going to a higher gear, non-posi unit for better crusing manners.
Mancini? Randys Ring & Pinion? Anybody else out there that builds good quality third members?
Anybody have a perfect 489 with 2.76 open, 1350 yoke thats for sale?
Thanks In Advance

Mancini & Randy's are both good. Also you might try west coast differential. I have a 489 case with factory 2.76 or 3.23 gears & open diff that I might sell, but it is dissasembled if you're interested.

Is there a reason that it must be a 489? For what you are looking to do, a 741 would be fine. There is one on ebay for $45

Roger-that ...and eBay one should do quite nicely. NO reason to go to M or R's for something like that. Both of those shops are way over-priced on that stuff anyways !

Thanks for replies. I guess I was just stuck on the 489 because thats what I have now. I am using 1350 series u-joints so I would have to buy new yoke for the 741. Easier than changing u-joints, more $$, but no u-joint change-out to put 489 back in.
The 741 uses shims (right?) to set pre-load, so when changing yoke you would torque nut on and preload would be same? Right?
Thanks In Advance!!!

It got better.
The seller refunded $29.47 on shipping, figured wrong. $10.00 was on the pinion.
So $46.12 shipping for the 741 case from Spokane, Washington, cheap.
Total shipping(yoke+center section) $56.12

He is shipping it through Paypal Shipping with UPS. I don't know how its boxed or how wrapped. He threw in $200.00 ins on the unit.
Have been reading the high torque thread with interest. If I just drive it normally will get 14-15 MPG with 3.23's. It'll be interesting losing 470 RPM at the same speed what MPG will be with 2.76's.
Now to save up for Passon's O.D. conversion.
Might have to drive Charger to work instead of Dakota........mmmmmmm
