Default biggest lift with stock rockers?

what is the biggest lift cam you can go with without adjustable rockers?? on a 440

think i could get away with a 494/513? 520/540?

we got a car with a 383 in it the other day that has old school adjustable rockers, what pushrod would i need for the 440??

You would be fine with the 494/513 with non adjustable rocker arms. With the 520/540 you would need adjustable rocker arms.

I do not know what part number for a pushrod to use on the 440 with adjustable rocker arms. You would probably need a pushrod that has a cup end on the top and a round end on the bottom to go in to the lifter with the proper length or geometry for a 440.
