IF you buy anything from UNLIMITED ... use your credit-card. They are capable of making decent stuff but they are famous for NOT doing so.

If you get junk from them ... you can have the whole deal reversed by the CC company.

I would strongly recommend trying AAR fiberglass hoods. I bought a six pack hood from them and it was very high quality. Fit and looked just like a steel hood, just not the weight. It had the factory brace patterns and had steel inserts where the hood hinges and latches attached. Just needed a scuffing then paint. Here is a link for a bolt on from them, they also have lift off if thats what you want. They are more pricey than others, but you get what you pay for.....

AAR ..... I just went on their site ... they give the word PRICEY new meaning !! ....and take this from someone who knows more-than-the-average-guy about fiberglass ...you do not need to pay this kind of $$$$ for quality parts.

You also mention lift-off stuff ? ... race car stuff ?? .... beware of some of their parts. You will need two people to carry a typical large hood. If you need a lite part .. they can probably do that but get that IN WRITING from them. There have been a lot of disappointed racers that have bought parts from them thinking there will be a major weight saving ...and there was not. And if you need the parts in 3 months ..order them 6 months ahead. They are famous on the internet for not honoring a promised delivery date.

USE a credit card with these people too.

The ONLY way I would buy any of their product is to see and INSPECT it first. And if it is PAINTED on the inside with primer (some fiberglass companies do this to HIDE the imperfections in the laminate).... I would walk-away ... very briskly.

Cool Thanks again everyone.............

I like the AAR stuff. It is expensive but sounds like they have had the problems and corrected them. No they can't be as light but it sounds like they have tried to correct the problems that cracked up in the past.
Thanks for the quick site Rumblefish.

No problem tarrebae. They have rave reviews from customers. There no race weight parts, but are lighter than stock.
