As far as I can tell from what I've read in various sources the combination of lower suspension and larger pumpkin makes the Dakota R/T unaccebtable for towing. Nobody at DC is saying anything about it.
People have been jacking up cars and trucks forever. Isn't there something out there that can correct the problem? Although I'm new to this, I picked up a truck mag and saw ads for suspension components. One item was call an overload spring (?). Wouldn't that work? MN |

Not to be difficult....by why tow with a street truck like the RT?
Won't be doing much racing towing 6000 pounds. Maybe just leave well enough alone...you have a great truck that's pretty quick, I think that's why you bought it? |

I might be wrong, but my understanding is that Dodge will not warrantee the R/T for towing, even with the towing package. What you actually do with it is your business, but don't expect to tow 10,000 lb and have them replace a broken axle. I wouldn't have a moment's hesitation towing a 4000 lb travel trailer if I had an R/T.
