We have Autronic SM4 in our tt EFI. Seems to work ok. You've got pretty steep plans, good luck. I would get rid of the IRS, you'll propably have enough work and problems even wihtout. On paper 900 hp is just numbers, in a car it's something else and creates a lot of situations that you propebly werenät even aware of.

Biggrin

That 8 3/4 center section wont hold up to 900 hp either. Better start lookin for a Dana 60.

Default thanks

hay guys thanks for the input and I'm goma look into the computer the reason that I wanted to go with the 8 3/4 is the versatility of gear changes I guess if I go with a solid axel d60 all I'll lose is some handeling on the street. I'm aware of the aspects of 900hp this is not my first build I built a 69 sport sattilite about 13 years ago we estmated the 440 put out just under 650 hp that car was heavy, full dress I ran 10.98 at keystone here in pa.
Also any one in the pittsburgh pa area ever heard of an engine builder named Jake Savani any input would be great.

900 hp is about as far from 650 hp as Jupiter is from Mars, and I assume the car will be pretty light weight too. Your irs will be a handful with 900 hp with it's caster etc changes throughout the suspension travel, I believe more so than a solid axle. 8 3/4" should be just fine unless you use drag slicks. If you want a strong IRS that can handle decently, I would take a look at C5 corvette rear suspensions with stronger Viper (dana) center sections.
