I saw from the Dakota sound-off that you have a new Dak, congradulations! Instead of doing the whole cat-back system, you could just do the muffler. It is much cheaper (I know those new payments must hurt) and you still get good power and sound. I got my Flowmaster 50 series and had the old muffler cut out and the new one welded in for $100 total. Since your pipes are all new, I just thought that this way might save you some money (for another mod).

BTW, how do you like the 4.7L? Did you try any others out (dodge or otherwise) before you bought?

Actually the payments are not bad at all.
The $2000.00 rebate they have right now, plus being a 5 star dealer employee let's me buy a new car or truck really cheap.

I had a 96' Ram ClubCab 4X4, 360 AT 3.92 gears, Sport package, fully loaded. This time I wanted something fast and fun.

I only own Mopar's, don't ask what the wife drives. The 4.7 equipped trucks that I test drove seemed to have good power, even with the automatic.
I figured the 5 speed could only be better.

On the Ram I removed the muffler and installed a section of pipe to fit in it's place. Sounded pretty good...reminded me of glass-packs. I don't know how the 4.7 would sound with the same set up.
It only cost me $20.00 to do the Ram.

Jeff C.
