Hey guys,

I have been looking over the posts and I cannot find anything on the clutch adjustment (if there is one). I know it is hydraulic and I looked under the truck for some way to do this and I did not find anything. I have a 98 Dakota 2.5L 5spd. Just curious because the clutch does not engage till the pedal is almost to the top of it's travel. Would like to maybe get it to where it is at the bottom near the floor. It only has 21000 miles on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hoov, I have a '98 5 speed V8 and I'm sorry to say I've heard that no adjustments can be made because it is hydraulic. I been around a few lists and this seems to hold true. There may be a way to modify it, but it would be news to me.

Thanks GS, I wasn't sure if it is supposed to be this way or not. I have owned a hydraulic clutch vehicle before and it had an adjustment rod down by the slave cylinder. This one is mounted straight to the bell housing. Maybe something will turn up.
