Welcome to the board.

There are several girdles available, the Chenoweth is among the better ones.

What kind of engine and car do you have? How much power? I mean, I have never been able to break stock caps, but we have only been at 700 - 750 hp with them. The caps are cast, and there can be bad caps, or you may have problems elsewhere. Aluminum caps are a great way of making both the caps and the block survive. The BCR products cap & girdle kit is great, but in my opinion with aluminum caps the girdle isn't really needed.

The BCR kit is very nice. I just built a 500" stroker 'B' engine using the BCR aluminum mains and girdle. I did have to bend up a internal oil pickup to clear the girdle stud and make up the thickness of the girdle.
