I work at a Chyrsler Dodge Truck Dealership and i'm thinking of getting a Dodge Dakota RT.. We have a black RC right now that is fully loaded.. It's a blast to drive and it is a damn good looking truck too.. Thinking of ordering one though and knocking it down a couple grand and possibly getting a differant color.. Don't really want a 1,000 dollar stock radio when i have an Eclipse in my car now.. 1,000 would get a pcm, and exhaust.. But anyway I get the thing at 1% over wholesale and there's a 1500 dollar rebate right now. So I could snatch one up at around 18,000.. Just some input on some good options and bad options.. The colors are flame red, intense blue, black, driftwood
or amber fire.. Don't want white.. By the Way first post.. |

I'd go with a the driftwood! I've always loved that color, sweet pearl and easy to clean. Besides, it's not a played out color.

I personally like the blue. IMHP, black is a pain to keep clean.

My personal favorite has always been RED with White Stripes!
Duner's previous '98, CC, R/T Of course I am totally in love with this truck. I wish it were mine. White with Viper Blue Stripes, full Hotchkis suspension treatment.....SCHWEEET! Sam's new '00, RC, R/T [This message has been edited by Duner (edited August 31, 2000).] |

I get compliments all the time about my Intense Blue Ram. Intense Blue is classy and is not seen so much that you look like everyone else. It also doesn't attract the police if you are like me and drive "a little above the posted speed limit" like arrest-me-red does. Red looks great except I've seen too many pulled over just in front of a police car...

Probably the R/T Cam Package and performance cat converter in the near future, too. |
