Cool

Seems like the Sport out numbers the SLT's by a huge margin here. This is what I've noticed on the streets where I live too.

I like the Sportbut I decided after owning a 98' that I'd get an SLT instead and be a bit different. I also wanted a CC instead of the reg. cab so I had the excuse.

I got a 99'SLT CC with the 318/auto,3.55's, and the tire and handling package. It's Metalic Red/Driftwood and has the towing goodies too. I switched the impossible to find 255/65's and put 255/70 Bridgestone Duelers on it. I use the truck off pavement and for towing quite a bit so these tires are more use to me. The truck was raised about an inch from this swap but there are no allignment problems or anything quirky aside from the speedo calibration. I have a K&NGen II and a Flowmaster cat-back. I like the uniqueness of the SLT's but I'm not slamming the Sport!

This is how I see it. The Sport is a Sport. The SLT is the grampa truck. What's your take on it?

The SLTs with their chrome grille and plush interior is simply a Jr. Ram. I really like the look of them and sometimes from a distance am not sure if some of them are Rams or not because the 4x4s have a great lift and tire package available for them. I would love to have a 4x4 SLT with a CC! Oh and by the way, my grandpa drives a 89 Chevy that he just put in trans. number 3! I bet he wish that he never got rid of his old Ram Charger.
